How far in advance should I book a celebrant?
To ensure your preferred date is available, it’s best to book as early as possible. I recommend booking at least 6-12 months in advance. However, if your date is approaching soon, don’t hesitate to reach out—there’s still a chance I may have availability!

How long is a typical ceremony?
Most ceremonies last between 20-30 minutes, depending on the type of ceremony and the special elements you wish to include. I can adjust the length of your ceremony to perfectly suit your preferences, making sure it’s just the right amount of time for your celebration.

What if I’m sick on the day of your wedding?
While it’s never happened (and I sincerely hope it doesn’t!), I understand that life can throw unexpected curveballs. If I’m ever unable to officiate your ceremony due to illness or an emergency, I have a network of wonderful celebrant colleagues who are ready to step in. I’m part of The Celebrant Society, a supportive community of celebrants, where I can quickly find someone with a similar style to cover for me. You won’t have to worry about a thing—I’ll ensure all necessary paperwork, scripts, and vows are handed over to ensure a smooth transition.

Do you have your own PA system?
Yes! I use the Bose S1 Pro speaker and Sennheiser wireless microphone, both top-tier audio equipment. You’re welcome to use my speaker for playing pre-ceremony music as your guests arrive. This ensures your ceremony sounds great, no matter where it’s held.

Do you travel?
I love to travel! My package includes travel within 40km of my base in Wonga Park, VIC. For locations beyond that, I charge a small fee of $1 per extra kilometre.

What will you wear on the day?
I always want to look the part and blend in with your wedding's aesthetic. I’ll ask you if you have a specific colour scheme or theme in mind, and I’ll choose my outfit accordingly. Whether it’s a soft pastel vibe or a formal black-tie affair, I’ll make sure I’m in sync with your vision. We’ll discuss this in our planning meeting, so I have plenty of time to find the perfect outfit!

Can my bestie/auntie/cousin/sister etc. conduct my ceremony for me?
Kind of yes, kind of no- While your loved ones can play a major role in your ceremony, the legal components must be conducted by an Authorised Marriage Celebrant in order for your marriage to be legally binding. If you’d like a family member or friend to lead parts of the ceremony—such as reading the introduction, sharing your love story, or playing a key role in the ceremony—I can help incorporate them while handling the legal aspects. If this is something you're interested in, get in touch, and we’ll work together to make it happen.

What is your booking process like?
Booking me as your celebrant is simple and stress-free! Start by getting in touch via my contact form, email, or phone. Once I confirm that I’m free on your date, we’ll set up an initial, obligation-free phone call (or a “vibe check”) to discuss your needs and vision for the ceremony. If you decide to move forward, I’ll send over a personalized agreement and an invoice for a booking deposit to secure your date. From there, we’ll work together throughout the planning process, with unlimited support along the way, to ensure your ceremony is everything you’ve dreamed of. The whole process will be easy, fun, and stress-free!
